A few weeks ago Karen and I flew to baltimore to visit with my brother and his family. While there we drove down to DC to see how the construction of the new building for the Museum of the Bible was going.
I knew it was not open yet so I wrote Jerry Pattengale to see if he could help us get a pass. Jerry and wife were in Australia but sent a note to the people in charge who let us know we could come down at 3:00 PM.
The tour they gave was a 5 Star Event. It will open next November but I saw a You Tube of the massive new bronze doors today. If you are interested in how things are made and how massive projects will look, click here.
