When I was Associate Dean at University of Cincinnati we had a small group of students that regularly came to our home for nurture, worship and Bible study. I was astounded at how many wanted to quit school and "Serve Jesus full time". I encouraged every one of them to stay in school and learn to prosper so they could impact the world.
Bright lights attract the world while offering the truth of the gospel. We are always encouraged to "Study and show ourselves improved". A dim bulb can hardly shine from the hilltops.
These young people needed to "sharpen their swords". They thought they knew the Bible and how to hear God but they did not. We need more Seasoned Believers".
