Men in Families are Key

Want to Evangelize?

  • If a child is the first person in a household to become a Christian, there is a 3.5% probability everyone else in the household will follow.

  • If the mother is the first to become a Christian, there is a 17% probability everyone else in the household will follow.

  • But if the father is first, there is a 93% probability everyone else in the household will follow! (See Acts 16:31b.)

  • Of about 94 million men in the United States, 68 million don’t attend any church. However, 85% of unchurched men say they grew up with some sort of church background.

Conclusion: If we reach the men, we will reach the families. If we reach the families, we will change the culture.

Want to attract men? Listen to what they think without negative judgments rather than tell them what they should think.
