I have often wondered how people can argue that we do not need strong borders. They say that we are selfish and mean if we insist that we will not take millions of poor people and help them out.
Is that true? Are we selfish to close our borders to the hungry and poor who show up here desperate for assistance?
Why do other rich nations have closed borders? Are they more selfish than we?
