The military services are constantly developing new tanks, guns and airplanes as well as the ships to carry them. I am consistently impressed with the training all the branches do to keep their people up to date on how best to defend our nation.
I wish the military was unnecessary. I wish the police forces were unnecessary. I wish evil men would all come to faith in Christ, the Great Peacemaker and choose life rather than death.
I am like the Mennonite that lived next door to my good friend in eastern Pa. He said, "I am a pacifist but I sure am glad not everybody is. if they were we would have no one to keep us safe.
