Adverse Childhood Events and Addictions, Diseases and Poverty

Adverse Childhood Events Research got under way in the Eighties when Kaiser Foundation started trying to get people to live healthier lives. Many people dropped out of their wellness programs and they followed up on them with interviews and examinations of their medical history from past generations.

Take a look at the picture above and see the impact of ACE and Illness and death. Do you see a correlation? This is why our training and materials are so focused on healing life's hurts. However, churches are the very best place to 1. Prevent ACE, 2. Lovingly heal those childhood wounds and 3. Be a refuge for wounded adults.

If you want to see how to be a caring, healing person, read our materials.

The answers are not hard nosed attacks on these people but a loving outreach and care with prayer.
